Folks… need some honest guidance here . I recently accepted L4 offer for Data Engineer from Meta . I am experienced in aws tech stack , SQL and python . I have 8 more weeks to join Meta . I hope to spend this time usefully to prepare so I can Survive , shine and thrive at Meta , Should I focus on GCP or any other skills ? Could you everyone suggest me how to spend my time wisely so I can ramp up faster .

I asked this problem to my manager. He mentioned I will be given enough training during my orientation .
Depends in which org is the job . This could be a good problem for your hiring manager .
Ex-Meta:
Try to focus on data modeling design, because every few weeks you have to present a design for review with your team and outside team.
Learn AI skills on building pipelines and how can you leverage. All pipelines are build using AI now.
Learn about social media product more , because most of the time you will be building dashboard for metrics which shows how the product you are working on is performing/health/insights.
Appreciate your mindset! Putting a few things out there Bigquery, GCP iam, flume, Protobuf. There should be a lot external resources if you hope to learn.
