Yet another fb data engineering Reject (On-site)

Little experience: 2 years BI development in India
Masters in MIS
Joined a mid range shop as a systems analyst (Been 5 years) No specific tech stack,
30% ETL in Talend
40% gig on internal tools using python(APIs)
30% Oracle and SQL
Nothing fancy or cloud tools

Wanted to move into a more data specific position, applied a lot of companies, thankfully FB came back

First tech stage: did 3.5/5 sql and 4/5 python. Was doing a bunch of leetcode practice during that phase and the practice helped me for this

Scheduled on-site in 4 weeks but then had a family emergency back home, so had to travel for India cancel on-site worked from there for 3 months. Since input will expire so did that in a haste, after coming back, recruiter mentioned need to get on-site done in 2 weeks.

Did well in all sections except the streaming question, couldn’t even start the code since it was the final segment in 4th round and I was already exhausted

Final input:
Positive for product sense, data model and sql
Red flag for coding

I liked the interview process and will definitely give a attempt next year
