Netflix data engineer interview

wise_cedar_5120·

Hi folks,

I have an interview coming up for a Sr Data Engineer job at Netflix.
Any insights to interview process and preparation is highly appreciated.
The recruiter mentioned one telephonic followed by 4 virtual onsite. Wondering if the standard of interviews is comparable to that of FAANG.
Coding, SQL, System Design. If that's the case could I request time for preparation?

I have video interview with Netflix following week. And there is a hacker rank link. Could you share what type of problems were asked.

Is this for onsite or screening?

I interviewed with Netflix for the same job recently. The process is comparable to any FAANG interviews.
The coding would be Leetcode medium level. Sql questions were about window functions. And system design wasn’t like a standard one. I wasn’t questioned to design a system but was asked few questions around design concepts
