How to crack data roles at FAANG?

I am presently pursuing MS in Bioinformatics but previously I was a senior data engineer at UnitedHealth (UHG). I hope to ask how to crack data roles at Faang? Do they ask DS&A in interviews or is it just the data skills like SQL, Python, R etc?

Technically no but in practice largely yes. 95% or so of DS Research have their PhDs
