Any insights for GitLab Senior Data Engineer interview and what type of problems to expect?

I have an onsite coming up in few weeks , so trying to gather as much information I can . I am in a sinking ship with Google so just hope to Jump before drowning with it .

Recruiter shared I will have below stages
Coding Interview - 1hr
Big Data Architecture & Design - 1hr
Product Sense - 45 min
Hiring Manager interview - 45 min
GitLab Values Interview - 45 min

I am already doing LC for my Coding Interview , and for rest I am largely dependent on Meta , youtube . I did not locate much content on Glassdoor. Any aid with this regard will be very helpful.

How does GitLab DE compare to Google DE, is it worth the shift?

I had my onsite waiting for the results. The interview process was fairly comparable to Google . Regarding the move it’s your personal choice, from my personal experience I do want to relocate out of Google .

Any reason for not leaving Google as DE ? Being a DE, I feel learning curve is very modest. No spark exposure. Mostly it's cared by Cradle.
Is it same @GitLab i.e. too much internal tools/service?

Same for me. I struggle when there is spark problems and being a DE, we are expected Spark knowledge.

Is it leetcode type ?
System design is swe kind or bigdata pipeline and schema design?
Would appreciate any leads on the above problems

Std format. Prepare well for behavorial stages. Also why TC modest for 12 YOE ? Are DEs paid lower than SwE at Google.

Yes I got an offer , the interview process was fairly comparable to FAANG, you should follow the leads from recruiter and prepare accordingly

This is what I landed from the recruiter.
Do you understand products you use on a daily basis and are able to believe of metrics to measure success? We simply want to assess your ability to understand the product from an analytical POV, and reflect on your ability to think of a product holistically and discuss the separate entities that make up a Product/Business.
