Data Engineer interview at EY

iron_slug_8581·

Given that it's a consulting role, (@ AI lab) what kind of problems can I expect in a technical round? And what does the interview process usually check like at EY. Any assist would be greatly appreciated!

PS: it says data engineer but the responsibilities check more like that of a data scientist.

Would also like to know more regarding AI lab

Thanks in advance

If you don't have any other choice don't let them make you work tough at all. Live your life and use it as a stepping stone. If they plan to let you go after 1 year for slacking let it be. Just use them, don't let them use you like they used me

Run the other way. Don't go to EY

Nope. Ran away as fast as I could. My biggest regret in life was joining EY. Good luck

I have worked at both JPMorgan Chase and EY and would not recommend joining EY. It’s a more sales/revenue driven environment/culture, where management cares about selling more rather than (proper) investing in building nice products. Most product builds I have come across are glorified demos/POCs.
I would recommend if you do conclude up interviewing with them, do your due diligence and ask them the details around their approach and what kind of models they have built etc.. to gauge the maturity of that group/product.
Alternatively- I would recommend you attempt to switching internally at CapOne within a better org like Card.

That's decent to hear! What are some more specifics of the interview process that I should understand? Idk if it'll be a casing kind of an interview or what

And the recruiter doesn't seem to understand more than what's in the email either

As wonderful as that would be, I'm a contractor here and I feel like my group doesn't treat me like I belong here. Does that switch your advice now?
