Can anyone assist me evaluate my offer with BCG as Senior consultant data engineer With the following components:
TC- 215 (150 base, 30 PB, 14 401k, 6 RB ,15 sign on)
YOE - 4.5

You don’t count sign on as tc. Maybe you amortize it over 2-4 years but definitely not tc at 100% unless you change companies annually. Most wouldn’t include it at all

Also what is rb? Retirement benefits outside of 401k?

I also wouldn’t count that into tc. Most here wouldn’t even count 401k into tc.

Boston and current TC is 110k

Well, if you wanna negotiate, you gotta be prepared to lose the offer. But keep in mind it’s way more than you’re making right now

You don’t count 401k or RB in total comp lol. Your total comp is: 150k base + 30PB + 15k/4 sign on. Which means 184k total comp if you get expected performance bonus.
